Slothful & Stubborn Two Things That’ll Mess You Up and How to Fix ‘Em
Thursday Apr 23, 2026
Thursday Apr 23, 2026
In this episode, my wife and I just sit down and have a real, honest conversation about two things that can quietly hold us back in life: being slothful and being stubborn. We keep it real, mix in a little humor, and share some personal moments as we talk about how these things show up in everyday life.
We get into how easy it is to put things off, avoid responsibility, and get comfortable doing just enough to get by. At the same time, we talk about how stubbornness can keep us stuck when we know we need to change, but just won’t do it.
This ain’t about pointing fingers at anybody else it’s about taking a good look at ourselves. We laugh a little, tell on ourselves some, and try to encourage folks to do better and grow.
If you’ve ever said I’ll get to it later or acted like everything’s fine when it really ain’t, this episode is for you.
We hope it’ll make you think, maybe make you smile, and most of all help you take a step in the right direction.

Faith Forward Podcast - What Do You Do When You’re Tired… but Still Called?
Thursday Jan 08, 2026
Thursday Jan 08, 2026
What Do You Do When You’re Tired… but Still Called? is an honest, hope-filled conversation for believers who love God, know they are called, and are still showing up—but feel worn down along the way. In this episode, we talk openly about the different kinds of tiredness—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and remind listeners that weariness does not mean weakness or failure. Through Scripture and real conversation, we explore the truth that calling does not cancel exhaustion, that even Jesus experienced weariness, and that God often invites us to adjust rather than quit. We discuss healthy, God-designed rest, the hidden weight of carrying others, the quiet ways God restores strength, and what faithfulness looks like in seasons when energy is low. This episode is a word of encouragement to the tired heart: you are not broken, God has not changed His mind about you, and this season is not your forever.
